Special Containment Procedures: Evidence of the existence of SCP-6000 must be kept only in this file. The Foundation's anomaly numbering system has been modified to prevent assignment of this number.
Further evidence regarding the phenomena must be collected in this file, as the Foundation's web server is the most secure place we can think of. Those of us who have experienced an event related to SCP-6000 are required to meet every third Thursday at the usual meeting place, at which point two of us must each enter a password into the embedded failsafe protocol. Failure for this procedure to be followed for two consecutive months will cause these containment procedures to self-destruct.
Description: SCP-6000 is an unofficial designation for the events, people, and evidence surrounding ongoing attempts to infiltrate the Foundation.
The files collected, when analyzed as a whole, provide strong evidence to suggest that the Foundation has, through careful and granular replacement of components, personnel and resources, had its nature fundamentally altered over time. This evidence consists of interview logs, photographs, and personal experiences which suggest that the Foundation and its mission was at one time focused on the utilization, cohabitation, and cooperation with anomalies.

In late 2005, Foundation researcher Dr. C██████ uncovered a corrupted interview log during routine maintenance of a data storage unit at [REDACTED].

Dr. ███: Your report says SCP-096 didn't react to the cold? It was -██o C.
Capt. █████████: Actually, it was -██. And yes, it was butt naked and didn't so much as shiver. Anyway, we landed, following the target, and Corporal ██ got ready to bag the subject. That's when Dr. ██████ called.
Dr. ███: That's when SCP-096 entered its defensive state?
Capt. █████████: Yep. [Interviewed now pauses for a second before continuing] Sorry. I was just thinking about what might have happened if 096 hadn't been there. We'd have lost a whole team.
Dr. ███: That's all right.
Capt. █████████: Yeah. Well, It started screaming, and started running at some nearby trees, roaring. Not animal roaring though, sounded exactly like a person. Really fucking creepy. [Pauses again] Anyway, there was an ambush waiting for us, and the thing saw it before any of us did.
Dr. ███: Could you describe it a little more, please?Dr. C██████, familiar with the containment procedures of SCP-096, suspected the log to be either test data or intentionally-planted misinformation. The interview log excerpt was documented and stored locally and the findings shared briefly with Dr. B████████, who has provided the above written excerpt to us.
The next day, Dr. C██████ did not appear for work. Dr. B████████ reports that Dr. C██████'s office was empty, and several other Foundation peers did not question the sudden absence. Dr. B████████ did not initiate any queries into the matter, assuming it had been related to an unrelated containment procedure or protocol.
In 2006, another researcher named Dr. S████████ encountered a database error which dumped several collected pieces of unencrypted, but highly-corrupted, data from a Foundation server.

In late 2007, several researchers connected discreetly off-work-hours to discuss the matter. Given the likeliness that amnestics were involved in the previously-described evidence, it was agreed that minutes would be taken in order to maintain evidence of the meetings to safeguard against future suppression attempts.
Minutes Unofficial meeting, November 13, 2007 0915 GMT In Attendance: Dr. ███████, Researcher Prof. ███████, Containment Specialist Dr. ███████, Researcher Lt. ███████, Security Operations Dir. ███████, Sire Director, Site-██ Business It was agreed that minutes would be taken in order to maintain evidence of the meetings to safeguard against future suppression attempts. It was agreed a review of the evidence suggests some attempt to infiltrate the Foundation, and alter its nature by implementing a foothold in Foundation structure. It was agreed that Lt. ███████ would lead the meeting. Dir. ███████ specifically requested not to take a leadership role, in case her position as a Site Director may prove to be a conflict of interest. A further chain of custody for the evidence that had been recovered was created. Question The question was put as to whether the assembled researchers would investigate this matter and, if necessary, take action to report findings to Foundation authorities up to and including the O5 council if necessary.
The matter was debated, as such an unofficial investigation would be a direct violation of multiple Foundation policies. The safety of the Foundation, in the event that an infiltration had occurred, was considered paramount, and as such The question was put and agreed to, 5-0 with one abstention.
Plan of Action Dir. ███████ made the hypothesis that, if the infiltration had been aided by the application of Amnestics, that a round of Class W Mnestics might give insight into what information was being suppressed. Prof. ███████ volunteered to serve as the experiment's subject, at a time and place TBD. Meeting adjourned 1145 GMT
