Archived Special Containment Procedures: Foundation operatives who begin to appear under the influence of SCP-1945 are to be psychologically evaluated by Site-55. Operatives deemed competent are authorized to return to work, but are to be monitored and subjected to regular counseling.
Archived Description: SCP-1945 is a memetic anomaly, manifesting in an interest and idolization of the National Socialist German Workers' Party (NSDAP) in the era of Second World War in individuals who would otherwise not be predisposed to collect, idolize, or attribute themselves with such content. Affected individuals seek out vintage and replica items, paperwork, regalia, and other objects related to the subject, and begin to slowly, over time, adapt their thought processes and ideals in a manner which runs parallel to those of the NSDAP. It is important to note that not all collectors of vintage World War II materials, including those related to the NSDAP, are thought to be affected by SCP-1945.
Subjects, when questioned, may defend their support of these ideals but, if aware of the existence of SCP-1945 become deeply apologetic and willingly submit themselves to counseling. They often express a desire to recover from the anomaly's influence.
Updated description: After review and many psychological consults, the existence of SCP-1945 is no longer supported by evidence. 'Affected' personnel are to be reassigned and evaluated; their supervisors are to handle them in a manner they see fit, up to and including termination.

So we are completely clear here: There was a fundamental breakdown in Foundation processes. This file shouldn't have been created, and a number shouldn't have ever been assigned. It starts with one person, who finds another, and connects with another, and all of a sudden you have a group of people who all share ideals. And then, when they get caught and questioned, they blame it on an anomaly so they can have an out. They play the victim. They look for any reason to make their obsession "reasonable".
We don't do that here. We take responsibility for our failings. We don't blame our problems oin anomalies. We have a job to do. A job that has enough horrors as it is.
You think you can be a Nazi on your own time? I remind you all: when you work for the Foundation, you don't have your own time. Get a grip. Get back to work.
