Derived Attributes

The derived attributes—Hit Points, Willpower Points, Reality Points, and Breaking Point—represent your operative’s physical and mental toughness.

Hit Points = STR + CON
Willpower Points = POW
Reality Points = POW × 5

Hit Points (HP): Hit Points represent how much damage your Agent can sustain. When the Agent is injured, subtract the damage from HP. At 2 HP, your Agent falls unconscious. At 0 HP, your Agent dies. Hit Points are regained through rest and medical attention.

Willpower Points (WP): represent mental acuity, awareness, and mental fortitude.

Willpower Points are decreased when an operative attempts to suppress the symptoms of mental illness (see Resisting Insanity on page $page$), becomes exhausted (see "Exhaustion" on page $page$), suffers emotional burnout (see "fumble" on page $page$), or tries to use it to power anomalous entities. At 2 WP, the operative becomes mentally exhausted. At 0 WP, they mentally shut down and go into mental shock (See Willpower Points, page $page$.)

This state lasts for approximately ten minutes, after which they recover a Willpower point. They recover more Willpower Points with rest.

**Baseline Reality Points (BRP): Reality Points represent mental health: how much mental trauma, or exposure to certain anomalous effects your Agent can endure before losing a grip on reality. In moments of severe trauma your operative must make a Reality Test by rolling BRP or lower on 1D100. If that fails, the operative questions what is real and what is not and loses reality points. (See Baseline Reality Points on page $page.) Reality Points are regained through psychiatric care and spending time with your operative's Reality Anchors.

At 0 Reality Points, your loses their connection to reality completely. At this point they are put under the control of the Administrator as an NPC.
